This hair, Ax – It has become a tradition that every evening before Independence Day a thanksgiving is held in the Timahan Village hall to commemorate the anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, This activity is usually known as tirakatan night.
On Tuesday the date 16 August 2022, Tirakatan night was held in the Timahan village hall which was attended by important figures including Babinsa, bhabinkamtibmas, village head and his apparatus, all community figures, village institutions as well as all of us UIN SATU KKN students on duty. This activity is always held once a year to pray for Indonesian heroes who have previously fallen and the ancestors in Timahan village and is interpreted as a form of community gratitude for the security obtained thanks to Indonesian independence.. This activity was only carried out in a simple way and did not necessarily invite all the people in Timahan village.
Tirakatan evening activities begin at around 12:00 p.m 19.00 WIB. While waiting for the invited guests to arrive, We prepare and arrange the mats that will be used for seating later. Together we help in preparing this event so that it runs smoothly.
After that, the invited guests had arrived, The event began with remarks from Mr Hery Sulistyo Bekti as Head of Timahan Village. He conveyed several important pieces of advice regarding Indonesian independence and invited all RTs to participate in enlivening the activities that would be held to commemorate Indonesian independence in Timahan village.. After the speech from the Village Head was finished, The event continued with the reading of the tahlil led by one of the community leaders in Timahan Village. The activity takes place solemnly and solemnly'.
After reading the tahlil together is finished, The event continued with a group meal. The shared meal is prepared by the mothers with a menu of rice and ingkung. We enjoyed the food served together. Of course eating together is not just something we usually do, but eating together with the villagers made us realize that harmony would be created through things like this.
