
Kradinan-Pagerwojo. Monday, 08 August 2022 o'clock 10.00 WIB UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung students held a themed workshop activity “Maximizing the Potential of Kradinan Village to Support Economic Improvement Post the PMK Outbreak”. The aim of holding this activity is to improve the economy after the FMD outbreak which spread to almost all areas of Kradinan Village. The content of this workshop activity is how to process fresh milk into milk candy and yogurt so that it can be consumed and bought and sold at a higher selling value than without processing.
UIN SATU Tulungagung KKN students also worked together with Mrs. Peni Nohantiya, S.Pd., M.Pd who comes from Jatinom village, Kanigoro, Blitar. Mrs. Peni was present as a speaker at this workshop to share knowledge and knowledge related to making milk candy and yogurt. This activity was attended by the DPL's father, namely Mr. Adi Wijayanto and women representatives from each hamlet in Kradinan Village.. Each hamlet sends as many representatives as possible 6 housewives.
Mrs. Peni fluently conveyed the material given. First, he explained nutritional information about pure milk which is milked every day by the people of Kradinan Village. He said that there are various kinds of processed products from milk, among them: pasteurized milk, yogurt, milk candy, ice cream, milk stick, milk dodol, cheese, dll. After completion, convey how to make it via power point media which is displayed on the monitor screen, Mrs. Peni rushed to practice how to make it with the help of UIN SATU Tulungagung KKN students.
The first one, he practiced how to make yogurt with the steps he explained earlier. Mrs. Peni also brought examples of processed yogurt from each step, because making yogurt takes quite a long time and cannot be completed in a short time. While waiting for the yogurt making process, he also showed how to make milk candy. Kradinan Village women also took part in practicing the process of molding candy dough, cut the dough and continue wrapping the milk candy in candy paper.
The workshop activity was closed by Mrs. Peni as the speaker, then continued with a friendly session and giving away souvenirs which had been prepared by the committee from UIN SATU Tulungagung KKN students.. This activity received good appreciation from the mothers who attended the workshop on making yogurt and milk candy which was organized by KKN students at UIN Satu Tulungagung.. By holding this workshop, UIN SATU Tulungagung KKN students hope that in the future the people of Kradinan Village will be able to process the milk they produce so that it can be consumed and bought and sold at a higher selling value.. And it is also hoped that this workshop activity can be realized in order to restore the economy which has fallen after the FMD outbreak.(Latifatul Mufidah)
