TUMPAKKEPUH, Daffodils - To fuel the blessed month of Rajab, The community collaborates with the Tumpakkepuh KKN group 1 holding istigosah, which is a religious activity carried out by Muslims aimed at asking for help, safety, goodness, and convenience to Allah SWT. Istigosah is also a means of approaching humanity to its God, namely Allah SWT.
The istigosah was held at the Al Janatun Na'im Prayer Room which is in Krajan RT Hamlet 03 RW 02 Tumpakkepuh Village. This event was held to coincide with 29 January 2023 in the morning, namely around 12:00 p.m 09.00. Through one of the leaders of the local yasin and tahil groups, inform the Tumpakkepuh KKN group 1 to participate in preparations so that the event runs smoothly.
This activity was attended by 6 female students who come to nearby places 2 hours before the event starts. These female students prepare the place where the istigosah will be held. Starting from sweeping to laying out carpets which will later be used as seating for the congregation. Besides that, The students arrange the food and drinks that will be served to the performers and the congregation.
The istigosah event began with prayer chants performed by the men's hadroh team. This was followed by a local religious figure who presented material about Isro' Miroj. Approximately 30 minutes of material delivered in a fun way. The final series of events which is the peak is the reading of istigosah which is connected with tahlil to the ancestral spirits to be placed on the side of Allah SWT.
"Istigosah events and other religious events are routinely held by Tumpakkepuh residents, especially yasin and tahlil groups.," said one of the mothers who attended the event. Because basically in Tumpakkepuh Village there are no less than 11 yasin and tahlil groups of mothers. Each group contains 15 until 25 Only people carry it out usually on Thursday or Friday.
