NGADIPURO, DO IT_ Ngadipuro Village, District. Wonotirto Kab. Blitar is a remote village far from the city. Efforts to create great and intelligent children. UIN SATU Tulungagung KKN Education Division with the guidance of field supervisors (DPL) have a work program with basic increasing human resources.
One of the aims of the work program is to increase awareness about learning among children in this village, to create a young generation who is intelligent and able to think that education is important. To create great and intelligent children, we are making a movement that might help a little to make that dream come true.
This movement will be followed by children in Ngadipuro and we will carry out this movement at PERPUSDES (Village Library). The library is a means that can be used to access knowledge and learning by the community. The library is a place to store and preserve sources of knowledge and is also used as a place for reading activities.
Education in Ngadipuro village is actually quite good, However, due to the lack of teaching staff, the schools in Ngadipuro died. Apart from this, there are many things that hinder education in Ngadipuro, namely, difficult road access, mindset parents who think that "you don't have to go to high school but you end up in the fields".
This makes children lazy to go to school so that in Ngadipuro Village there are many early marriages. Actually, many parents have it mindset to send their children to graduate school, but only in certain environments, such as if a sibling or neighbor has children who go to high school. This makes parents feel inferior if they see that their children do not go to high school.
We think that can change mindset parents to be literate in education is the child's own prestige and desire. The interest in learning among children in Ngadipuro Village is actually very high. However, this is because in Ngadipuro Village the majority of parents work in the sugar cane fields, which is the main income, make them leave in the evening and return in the evening.
Because of this busy schedule, the majority of parents do not have much time to study with their children. So that children are allowed to learn or play. This results in very low interest in learning among children, There are even children who cannot multiply and add even though they are in elementary school 2.
Therefore we have a work program which we named "ASIYAB" which means "Let's Sinau Together" we opened this movement on 1 February 2023 which we implement on the clock 15.00 until 17.00 at PERPUSDES for free. Hearing this movement we opened, the children in Ngadipuro were very enthusiastic about participating.
It's not just Ngadipuro children, However, there are also people from outside the village who come to take part in the ASIYAB movement that we opened, the children even picked us up at the post which was quite far from PERPUSDES. Their enthusiasm for learning makes us also enthusiastic about further developing this movement.
The ASIYAB that we implemented at PERPUSDES received a lot of support from the children's parents, because they think our movements really help children in learning. We hope that this program will awaken children's interest in learning in this village so that they can turn the young generation into great and intelligent young people who will later be useful for Ngadipuro Village..
