CRECTION, RESPONSIBILITY – KKN activities will be carried out starting on 19 January – 21 February. Many activities are carried out, especially community service. Like socialization, nature conservation, teach social culture in society and others. We conceptualize the activities in one month in sequence. First week of Anjangsana, in the second and third weeks, input data from observations along with implementing the work program and in the fourth week working on the Accountability Report (LPJ).
In this KKN activity we are taught how to tolerate each other by uniting 41 different ideologies but there is still a sense of tolerance among group members. Each 2 Once a day after Maghrib prayer we often evaluate activities led by the group leader. Evaluation activities aim to ensure that subsequent activities make progress. Through KKN it is like real life. Usually we sleep in a boarding house in one room 3 people, We sleep on mats 41 people. With all the limited facilities we have, this does not make us discouraged from carrying out community service. Our initial arrival was also greeted well by the residents of Kresikan Village. Thank God, the residents are also harmonious.
We also asked what the obstacles were in this village, one of which was water problems. In the rainy season, rainwater is abundant, but on the other hand, in the dry season, residents have difficulty finding water sources, So, for their daily needs, many people buy water from suppliers. The price offered also drains your wallet, Moreover, water is the source of human life, whatever the price, it will definitely be purchased.
At our post, we happened to run out of water in the first week and the water pump didn't produce any water. In the end, our friend contacted the village head regarding how we could get water. We will cook, mandi, and clean up. Finally, the Village Head was given the telephone number of the water supplier. So we bought water at a price of Rp. 10.000 per large drum, in the end we buy 100.000 given a bonus of one drum for the total 11 drum.
In one month we bought water twice. One time it rained so heavily that we had an idea. What if we used this rainwater so that people in the community could consume rainwater without worrying about the symptoms it would cause?. From this idea, we immediately collected the rainwater, then we measured the pH and it turned out that the pH of the rainwater in Kresikan Village was very high, namely "9" and was alkaline..
Finally, we first lower the pH of the water to a number below neutral "7" so that it can be consumed by making a filtration device. The tools are quite simple, including making three levels of used gallon bottles, then we fill it with tissue, cotton, sponge, young coconut fiber, We fill the top gravel with sand. Then we pour out the rainwater and measure the pH so that it is neutral so that the water is like we are consuming it, but it has to be boiled first.. [Kresikan KKN / WFF]
