NGERDAN, DONGKO – In order to increase the spirit of creativity and foster a frugal lifestyle among MI Al students- Muttaqin, then the education division will implement a program, namely utilizing used plastic bottles of mineral water and rags which will ultimately be used as savings..
It is hoped that MI Al-Muttaiq students will be able to open their creative minds and adopt a frugal lifestyle. So that this activity can run according to our goals, this event has previously been coordinated with the school. Furthermore, the response from the school was very enthusiastic in supporting the program we created.
“This activity is very supportive for students to be able to adopt a frugal lifestyle and foster their creative spirit," said one teacher at MI, This Itik, Tuesday 06 August 2019.
In implementing this activity we focus on female class students 3 and class 4 with the number of students 12. We really hope that this activity can continue and be coordinated by each class teacher. Apart from that, students can set aside some of their pocket money to put into useful savings for the future, for example in preparation for entering junior high school.
This early learning for MI Al-Muttaqin students is very useful so that in the future students can enjoy the results of savings which are used for other needs.. Teaching students to live frugally for a good life in the future.
The students were even very enthusiastic in carrying out the activity of decorating plastic mineral water bottles using patchwork.
At the end of the activity after the savings are finished, several students enthusiastically put their pocket money into the savings they had just created. (Command Post 2 Ngerdani Dongko District)
