Resapombo, Kesamben – IAIN Tulungagung KKN students in Resapombo Village are involved in community activities. They are involved in Posyandu activities (Family Planning Service Post- Integrated Health).

this activity, including basic health activities organized from, by and for communities assisted by health workers. In other words, Posyandu is a community self-help activity in the health sector with the responsibility of the village head. Some of the activities carried out at the posyandu include immunization for babies and toddlers, health care for babies and toddlers, monthly weighing, supplementary feeding.

Integrated program service activities are usually carried out at the village hall, village hall, RW, and so on, hereinafter referred to as posyandu (Integrated Service Post).

That morning, 17 January 2020 Posyandu located in Resapombo village, doko district, Blitar district, assisted by IAIN Tulungagung KKN students who work in Resapombo Village, carry out immunization activities for the elderly (Elderly), weigh the body, blood pressure, check blood sugar, check cholesterol, and elderly exercise.

Besides that, KKN students also provided material regarding dengue fever education, TB education (Tuberculosis). This material is given using the lecture method. The material contains information about the symptoms of dengue fever, symptoms of TB disease, how to avoid and treat dengue fever and tuberculosis.

The elderly residents of Resapombo village were very enthusiastic about taking part in this activity. They were so excited to take part in the activities. Participants who take part in activities around 30 people of average age 60 year. The activity begins with weighing, after that do counseling, and then exercise together.

This activity aims to provide education to the public to immediately maintain health, because health is an important point that must be considered. (Resapombo Communications Division3)
