He conveyed the differences between communities in protecting nature, in ancient times local wisdom or a form of local wisdom in protecting nature, namely by saying that every big tree has a guard with the intention that the tree should not be cut down, Another local wisdom is the way people protect nature, namely maintaining beaches, one way is to say that “Don't throw rubbish and pollute the sea because there is Nyi Roro Kidul as the guardian of the South Sea.” So the fear of destroying nature will have a positive impact on nature conservation.
In today's modern era, people don't believe it exists local wisdom So it is difficult to protect nature without awareness from the community itself. He also said that the KKN program in protecting the environment must collaborate with the community, including tree planting or reforestation activities.
The Chancellor of IAIN Tulungagung also asked KKN students to develop local products from villages by turning them into products such as banana chips or developing existing chip production businesses or collaborating with villages to make 'agropisang'’ with land owned by the village.
The next speech was from Keboireng Village, namely by the Village Secretary, he said that Keboireng Village had represented the district in the provincial level Disaster Resilient Village or DESTANA competition and became champion 1 and received assistance in the form of evacuation route signs and gathering points spread throughout Sidem Beach, Bayem and Gemah and are located at several points in Keboireng Village, including at the village hall and at school institutions.
