Activities participated in by 47 This participant was held to increase writing creativity in the midst of a pandemic. Remembering that during a pandemic like this, an easy and useful activity for us and other people is writing.
Apart from that, writing can take any form, can be done anywhere and anytime. Writing activities are in accordance with our respective perspectives and backgrounds. Some people still think that writing is a difficult activity.
However, this cannot be denied, The two presenters on the talk show said that the biggest challenge in writing is laziness. This means that a person's laziness definitely depends on how to force and control it.
This event makes us aware of writing according to what we are interested in in accordance with the existing code of ethics. That way, the resulting writing will be good writing and useful for everyone. “Jinsecure thoughts, Just be confident in your own writing," said Dewi Mashitoh when motivating the participants to believe in their own work.
Believing in our own writing is also a form of appreciating our own work because if we don't respect ourselves with confidence then how will other people believe in our own work?.
The key to creative writing is to read and write more. If we often read, it will be easier to express ideas by writing. That way, reading and writing will later become a habit that will no longer feel difficult to start. When writing, There are many orientations that we can come up with, such as commercial goals or just fun/hobbies. “How many books should you read?, how much knowledge do you want to gain. How many books should you write?, as much knowledge as you want to give,” explained Ummi Ulfatus Syahriyah at the Inspirational Talk event.
Apart from commercial purposes and hobbies, Writing can be used as an opportunity to channel knowledge. Share knowledge and share fun with others. It can even influence mindset other people so that it is like a force that changes his life.
At the end of the session, a question asked by one of the participants, Khofifah Khoirunnisa' regarding how to be efficient when we write so that we create a book that is worthy of being read by the public. In fact, every writer has style each. Both fiction and non-fiction book writers.
For example, Wawan Susetya, a Tulungagung humanist who claims to be able to write one book in one week.
This was nothing unusual for him. Because it is indeed a habits. This is different with Habiburrahman El Shirazy, said Wawan as conveyed by Ummi during the session to answer questions. “A leading novelist came up with ideas and put together the plot of the novel and all kinds of things for three years, but the writing stage only took three days. So, Everyone has their own style for collecting their writing into a book. “I am often wishy-washy in writing. But I know what I have to continue to do to get it done. The important thing is persistence. The few that stay are better than the many things we write about that soon disappear, said Ummi.
Dewi Masithoh also gave a presentation that we must remain enthusiastic and continue to be passionate about denying the laziness that exists within each of us.. (VDR KKN Book Anthology Division 099, ice cream, woozy)
