Unequal distribution of health facilities, UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung KKN Holds Free Medical and Health Check Social Services

NGADIPURO, WONOTIRTO – Health is the most important thing in life, because if you are healthy, all activities will not be disturbed and you can easily carry out all activities. In an effort to create health for the residents of Ngadipuro Village, the health and environment division of the UIN KKN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung with the support of field supervisors and Ngadipuro Village midwives held a "Free Health Check" activity. This activity was held on Sunday, 12 February 2023 o'clock 08.00 – 12.00 WIB.

In Ngadipuro Village there is only 2 health facilities, namely in Krajan Hamlet and Besole Hamlet which covers the Banyuurip area, Dongjati and Swipe. Because health facilities are unequal and many residents complain of common diseases such as cholesterol, gout, diabetes, aches and pains, Dizzy, and much more, So UIN KKN student Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung carried out a free health check activity.

 This activity began with registration by residents of Ngadipuro Village who were given free health check coupons and examination papers. Then, followed by opening remarks from the coordinator of the health and environment division, as well as representatives of the Care for Others Community. The residents had very high enthusiasm in taking part in this free medical treatment and vitamin giving event.

After that, Residents are directed to health checks which include:, tension, check blood sugar, and consult a doctor to find out the complaint. All checking results are written on examination paper. Doctors write prescriptions for residents which will be handed over to the pharmacist so that they explain the use of the medicine and when to take the medicine correctly. This event was attended by Ngadipuro residents with a number of approx 50 people.

Most of the residents who took part in this health check were elderly, but there are also some young mothers, small child, and teenagers. At the end of the health check event, there are several students who also take part in health checks and learn blood pressure equipment. [KKN Ngadipuro 1/NV]
