Resources, Tulungagung – In order to prepare for the implementation of the independent curriculum, KKN UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung held an "Independent Curriculum Preparation Seminar" on Wednesday, 15 February 2023. This event was attended by elementary school/MI teachers of the same level 4 school, namely SDN 1 Resources, SDN 3 Resources, SDI Qurrota A'yun Sumberdadap, and MI Bustanuth Tholibin Sumberdadap. This event aims to increase the knowledge of teachers regarding the independent curriculum and it is hoped that schools that have not yet implemented the independent curriculum can immediately implement it in their schools.
This independent curriculum seminar was resourced by Mr. Machrup Eko Cahyono, M.Pd.I. which was guided by one of the KKN student representatives, namely Asna Azizatur Rohma. "Independent Curriculum Seminar" is something that supports teacher knowledge around Sumbedadap Village. Every teacher today needs to understand the provisions of the new curriculum that has been established by the Minister of Education, Mr. Nadiem Makarim, namely the "Independent Curriculum".
"Even though this curriculum is relatively new and is very different from the previous curriculum, However, this independent curriculum makes it much easier for teaching staff and tends to be adapted to current developments,” said Mr Machrup.
The learning system in the independent curriculum tends to utilize technology in this era 5.0 which can bring big changes in the world of learning. Various applications as learning media that can be used by today's teachers, such as the quiziz application which is useful for providing practice questions in the form of multiple choice and other tests. In the independent curriculum, the instructors are also tried to do learning in a way outdoor, This serves so that students do not get bored if learning is only done in class.
Unique and interesting learning media is also one of the factors focused on the independent curriculum system. Each new learning system that has been established by the government has a useful reason to support the world of education in Indonesia.
