TUMPAKKEPUH, Daffodils – Opening event for the Tumpakkepuh Village Real Work Lecture 2023 by UIN Student Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung held at the Tumpak Kepuh Village Hall on 24 January 2023. The event also invited community representatives, in this case represented by the heads of the RT and RW of Tumpakkepuh Village along with all village officials and KKN participants totaling 80 people.
The arrival of quite a lot of participants compared to the previous year was welcomed happily by the entire village community, Not a few village people give their harvests to KKN participants to enjoy. The opening was also attended by Mr. Anas Ribab Sibilana, M.Pd.I as the field supervisor who directly entrusted the KKN participants to the Head of Tumpakkepuh Village, Mr. Miswanto.
"I hope that the KKN participants will be able to quickly adapt and blend into the Tumpakkepuh community over time 1 This month is a short time, so it must really be utilized as best as possible to learn and realize every potential that exists in Tumpakkepuh Village,” said the Head of Tumpakkepuh Village in his speech. "We provide as much space as possible for the KKN participants to be able to explore and carry out the work programs they have brought to be implemented in Tumpak Kepuh Village.," He added.
Tumpakkepuh Village itself has various tourism potentials that can be developed by KKN participants, at least there is 2 Beautiful beaches for tourists are Pangi Beach and Gayasan Beach, Apart from that, this village also has a paradise under the hill, namely Embultuk Cave, and there is Sumurup Lake and also the tree that witnessed the birth of Tumpakkepuh Village, namely the Randu Alas tree which is very old with a very wide diameter..
Mr. Anas as the Head of Tumpakkepuh Village in his speech also explained that future KKN participant activities are expected to not only focus on teaching activities but also in various sectors as a medium for applying the knowledge they have gained during their studies.. Besides that, In order to support the growth of MSEs in this village, he hopes that the KKN participants can help all MSEs.
With the help of the campus, He hopes that all MSEs will get halal certification for their products, where in the narrative of one of the village officials stated that there were at least more or less 60 The MSEs in Tumpakkepuh Village can be developed by all KKN participants during 1 month in this village. Besides that, Pak Anas' direction as DPL and also Head of Tumpakkepuh Village is also aimed at the tourism sector in this village.
It is hoped that the presence of KKN participants who are Generation Z who are currently active with social media can help promote tourism in Tumpakkepuh Village through their personal social media.. So that, can return to being as busy as before Covid.
