In order to prevent Foot and Mouth Disease (PMK) In Pasiraman Village, Wonotirto District, free vaccination will be held for residents' livestock, including cows, goat, and sheep. This vaccination activity started at 09.00-12.00 WIB carried out by orderlies from the Blitar Regency Livestock Service together with Mr. Erik as Kamituwo of Puringan Hamlet and Mr. Endi of Krajan Hamlet.

Students tasked with accompanying vaccination activities gathered at the Pasiraman Village Hall to coordinate with the Animal Husbandry Service.
“Don't get too close to livestock, okay?, so that livestock do not feel afraid and become aggressive,"ordered the Blitar Regency Animal Husbandry Service orderly.
After coordinating, Each group, together with the orderlies, immediately went to the houses of residents who had livestock, guided by Kamituwo.
In this vaccination activity, Livestock owners are free to agree or disagree with vaccination. For residents who agree, they are only asked to show their KTP as personal data about the owner of livestock that has been vaccinated. Apart from vaccination, The Animal Husbandry Service also provides free vitamin injections to livestock belonging to residents who do not agree to be vaccinated. Meanwhile, Livestock that are pregnant or giving birth are not vaccinated.
The aim of this vaccination is to prevent Foot and Mouth Disease (PMK) which is currently increasingly attacking livestock, it can even cause the death of livestock. This vaccination is also a condition for livestock to be able to enter the animal market. FMD vaccination is a national program aimed at increasing animal resistance to FMD. It is hoped that vaccinated livestock will gain immunity, protected from disease, and prevent transmission from animal to animal.
Although the government through the Ministry of Agriculture has confirmed that the PMK vaccine is safe for livestock and does not cause significant side effects, but there are still some livestock owners who are afraid to vaccinate. By carrying out this vaccination, it is hoped that the death rate of livestock in Pasiraman Village due to FMD will decrease, considering that there have been many cases of livestock deaths due to FMD.
