TULUNGAGUNG – Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) State Institute of Islamic Religion (IAIN) Tulungagung gave a final briefing to the field supervisor (DPL) Community Service Program (KKN), Monday (15/7/2019). The briefing was held in the rectorate hall on the third floor.
The briefing was guided by three people at once. Chairman of LP2M IAIN Tulungagung Dr. Drink Naim, M.H.I, LP2M secretary Dr. Phil. Syafuddin Zuhri, MA and Head of the Community Service Center Dr. Muhammad Muntahibun Nafis, M.Ag.
Chairman of LP2M IAN Tulungagung Dr. Drink Naim, M.H.I said that the implementation of the second wave of real work lectures this year is expected to continue to develop. Reason, During the first wave of KKN, monitoring and evaluation was carried out.
''We hope that all DPL will be able to play an active role,he said.
Naim explained, This KKN is carried out by students. Nah, Lecturers as mentors participate in developing community service. As stated in the KKN manual, Every activity that students will carry out must be under the direction of DPL.
Chairman of the LP2M Community Service Center, Dr. Muhammad Muntahibun Nafis, M.Ag said that there were several types of KKN held. In between, KKN Nusantara, Mental Revolution KKN, National Community Service Program, Regular KKN, and International KKN.
''We hope that DPL can understand each target of the type of KKN they are accompanying,” he said.
Nafis continued that the national KKN was located in Ternate-Tidore. KKN Nusantara sent students to Samarinda. KKN International is in Southern Thailand. Whereas, Mental Revolution KKN in Panggul and Pule Districts, Trenggalek Regency. KKN-Regular in Dongko District, Tell Trenggalek and Pagerwojo Regencies, Tulungagung

Meanwhile, LP2M Secretary Dr. Phil. Syaifuddin Zuhri, MA said that in the KKN process this time DPL was given the role of creating a work in the form of a village chronicle book. So, DPL together with students helped process the book.
“DPL and students can collaborate in preparing this village chronicle,he said.
The hope, This village chronicle book is an effort to develop the quality of KKN with the hope of having a clear village data base, controlled and systematic. So KKN is not only beneficial for students, DPL and campus but also the community and village government.
DPL who received the briefing seemed enthusiastic about the program offered by LP2M. They hope that KKN will continue to bring benefits to society and the development of science.
The release of the second wave of KKN is planned to be carried out by the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia Lukman Hakim Saifuddin on Tuesday (16/7/2019) on the IAIN Tulungagung campus grounds. (aam)
